I had recorded the Exeter Story Prize in my spreadsheet (yes, I have a spreadsheet) as a fail, but it turns out the judging process was just slow, and in fact I have been longlisted, which is gratifying! I’m not allowed to say which story yet, though.
(Update: it was ‘The Dimitropol Chinese Restaurant’, but alas it didn’t progress any further. )
